The Top Cable TOXFREE MARINE XTCuZ1-K (AS) 0.6/1kV is a specialist halogen-free, fire-retardant, armoured marine power cable designed for fixed installations on ships and offshore units in all locations. Manufactured and tested to IEC 60092-353, this cable carries approvals from five of the world’s leading marine classification societies — DNV, Bureau Veritas, Lloyd’s Register, Germanischer Lloyd, and ABS — making it universally accepted for global maritime and offshore projects. All cable materials are completely halogen-free with low fumes emission and fire-retardant properties, critically important in enclosed ship spaces where toxic fumes during a fire event pose the greatest risk to life. The cable construction features XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) insulation rated to 90°C, an aluminium-polyester tape inner covering, a tinned copper wire braid/armour for mechanical and electrical protection, and a black thermoplastic polyolefin SHF1 outer sheath. Fire performance meets IEC 60332-1-2 (no flame propagation) and the demanding IEC 60332-3-22 Category A (no fire propagation in bunched cable installations). Halogen-free certification per IEC 60754-1 (acid gas <0.5%), IEC 60754-2 (pH >4.3, conductivity <10 µS/mm), and smoke transmittance >60% per IEC 61034-2 confirm its safety pedigree. Available in configurations from 2-core up to 37-core, covering power, lighting, and control circuit requirements across all marine and offshore applications.
